What Is a Colossus Enemy in Battle Cats?
Colossus is a marker that can appear alongside another enemy trait. Check both labels: Colossus Slayer helps against the Colossus part, while a Cat that targets the enemy's other trait may also be relevant. Then check that enemy's actual abilities, range and stage magnification before choosing a lineup.
This site currently identifies 13 search-eligible Colossus enemies in Japan game data v15.6 · English release available. The count changes with the imported game data.
Read Colossus together with the other trait
The Colossus label alone does not tell you whether an enemy is Red, Angel, Relic or something else. These three records from the current catalog show why you should read the complete trait row rather than choose a team from the Colossus marker alone:
| Enemy | Recorded traits | Base HP | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baron Seal | Red · Colossus | 15,000 | 320 |
| Great Angel Chibinel | Angel · Colossus | 160,000 | 350 |
| Zero Luza | Relic · Colossus | 4,000,000 | 450 |
These are 100% base values, not the values in every encounter. The table illustrates trait combinations; it is not a ranking of which fight is hardest. For the complete current set, open the enemy list with the Colossus filter.
What does Colossus Slayer change?
PONOS describes Colossus Slayer as increasing a Cat unit's attack damage and defense against Colossal enemies. It is an ability on the Cat, not a separate attack stat on the enemy. A Colossus enemy may have other traits too, as the records above show, so check the complete enemy record and your Cat's own targets before assuming one ability covers the whole encounter.
This database records enemy stats, not your Cat unit's level, talents or ability multipliers. It therefore cannot calculate a particular Cat's effective damage or survival against a Colossus from the enemy row alone.
Work through an encounter with Baron Seal
- Open Baron Seal's stats and confirm its recorded traits: Red and Colossus. The base HP is 15,000 and the recorded range is 320.
- Check its stage appearances for the encounter you mean. A stage may give the enemy different HP and ATK percentages.
- Use the enemy page's magnification calculator with that stage's percentages. Compare the resulting HP and attack with your Cat lineup's range, targeting and abilities; do not use the base HP as the stage HP by default.
The enemy-stats guide walks through that magnification calculation. Stage appearances here are data matches, not complete spawn timelines or team recommendations.
Sources and limits
Enemy traits and base stats come from the release-stamped catalog described in our data methodology. PONOS's official Cat Guide describes the Colossus Slayer ability. This page explains how to inspect a matchup; it does not claim that all Colossus enemies share the same other trait or that a single Cat choice wins every stage.
